Biography

Emad Jafarzadeh is a PhD student in Toxicology and Pharmacology at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), Iran. His research focuses on overcoming drug resistance in lung cancer, particularly through combination therapies involving metformin and cisplatin. He has co-authored several publications, including a systematic review on this topic published in Current Topics in Medicinal Chemistry. Jafarzadeh also contributed to research on lead-induced neurotoxicity in cholinergic cells differentiated from bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells, published in Toxicology and Industrial Health. He is a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Life Science and Biomedicine.
