Biography
Dr. Ioannidis is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He earned his MD (2005), MSc in Medical Research Methodology (2008), and PhD (2014, valedictorian) from Aristotle University, and an MSc in Surgery of Liver, Biliary Tree, and Pancreas from Democritus University of Thrace (2016). A general surgeon specializing in laparoscopic surgery, surgical oncology, acute care surgery, nutrition, and ERAS, he has received fellowships from EAES, ESSO, EPC, ESCP, and ACS, and authored over 180 publications with 3000+ citations (H-index 28).
